In ClickBus–TOTVS deal review, Brazil’s CADE rejects third-party intervention

( September 18, 2025, 14:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Brazil’s antitrust authority has denied requests from BlaBlaCar, Omio and Buson to participate as third parties in the review of the acquisition of RJ Participações by Bus Serviços de Agendamento (ClickBus). In a Sept. 17 report, the authority’s Superintendence said that although the companies raised relevant competition concerns — including market consolidation, access to sensitive data, and prior anticompetitive conduct — they failed to show adequate cause for intervening in the proceeding. See official notice attached....
