GTCR-Surmodics PI hearing to run through Sept. 2; FTC, firms to continue remedy talks

( August 20, 2025, 13:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The preliminary injunction hearing in the US Federal Trade Commission's antitrust case against GTCR and Surmodics' proposed merger will start Aug. 21 and run through Sept. 2, from 9 am to 6 pm, according to a docket entry in the case. Remote access to the hearing will not be available. The parties will continue to meet regarding outstanding confidentiality issues related to the divesture agreement and evidentiary objections. The government will submit its response to GTCR's Aug. 18 settlement proposal to defense counsel and the court's settlement correspondence mailbox on Aug. 20. Docket entry follows below:...
