Vivendi breached EU merger law's 'standstill' rule, EU Commission says

It said an investigation had shown that "Vivendi closely monitored and regularly intervened in the strategic decisions regarding the editorial line as well as covers and articles of Lagardère's magazines and newspapers (i.e., Paris Match and Journal du Dimanche)."
