Tving–Wavve deal gets green light from South Korea with price conditions

The Korea Fair Trade Commission raised concerns that the move could lead to higher subscription prices in the domestic streaming market, given the platforms’ strong user bases and differentiated content. To address these risks, the regulator ordered both services to maintain their current pricing through the end of 2026 and ensure that any future integrated offering remains comparable in price and features.
