GTCR BC, Surmodics subject to order limiting potential merger date

( May 29, 2025, 13:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A US District Court judge told GTCR BC Holdings and Surmodics that they can complete their merger no sooner than 11:59 pm EST on November 11, or the fifth business day after the district court rules on the US Federal Trade Commission's motion for a preliminary injunction. The FTC sued to block in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on March 6, claiming the merger "would create a combined company controlling more than 50% of the market for outsourced hydrophilic coatings." See file attachment. ...
