Brazil's CADE pushes TIM-Telefônica network sharing agreement review deadline by 90 days

( May 28, 2025, 20:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The Brazilian competition authority has extended by 90 days the 240-day deadline for reviewing the network-sharing agreement between TIM and Telefônica Brasil. The extension, given by lead councilor Diogo Thompson, stems from concerns that the remaining time would be insufficient for proper deliberation, additional investigation or negotiation of a potential Concentration Control Agreement (ACC).
