Norva24 put under merger reporting requirements in Norway from today

( May 16, 2025, 07:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Norva24 Holdings — and other companies in the group — will have to report all mergers, acquisitions and minority investments in certain market sectors in Norway starting today, the national antitrust authority has said. The affected sectors are emptying and flushing services, pipe renewal and related services. The disclosure duties, which include deals below the threshold values for notification, as well as minority investments that aren't subject to notification, will run until the end of 2026. The goal is to prevent poor competition as a result of large players acquiring smaller ones, the office said, adding that more companies could see themselves put under such a reporting duty.Statement follows. ...
