Microsoft gets win against US FTC affirmed on appeal

( May 7, 2025, 16:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A lower court applied the correct legal standards and did not abuse its discretion, or rely on clearly erroneous findings, in holding that the Federal Trade Commission failed to make a sufficient evidentiary showing to establish the requisite likelihood of success on the merits of its challenge to Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, according to a US appeals court.
