Don't add 'creeping acquisitions' to New Zealand's merger regime, industry warns

In a recent submission to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s consultation on the review of the 1986 Commerce Act, top industry body BusinessNZ argued that most mergers aren’t anticompetitive and that New Zealand’s current regulatory framework is generally effective.
