DP World's bid for Silk raises antitrust concerns for Australian regulator

In a statement today, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that it has released a statement of issues seeking feedback on antitrust issues that may arise from DP World Australia becoming the owner of a national container transport provider. The regulator said it's review is focused on DP World Australia’s ability and incentive to either increase terminal fees or worsen the quality of terminal services for competitors of Silk after the acquisition.
