Boparan-ForFarmers chickenfeed deal provisionally cleared by UK’s CMA

( February 18, 2025, 10:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Boparan’s proposed purchase of ForFarmers’ feed-mill sites has been provisionally cleared by the UK Competition and Markets Authority, following an in-depth phase II probe. The sites are located in Burston, eastern England and Radstock, southwestern England. The CMA said that UK farmers and chickenfeed suppliers would still have options of choosing providers should the deal go ahead. Views are invited until March 11, and a final decision by the regulator is scheduled by May 13.Statement follows....
