Meta under UK probe over Instagram Instants feature, says risks were assessed

Meta said it had conducted a risk analysis and briefed Ofcom several times. The probe, announced Tuesday, concerns risk assessments required under the UK Online Safety Act. Meta said Instants includes several built-in protections. Meta Platforms is under investigation in the UK for potentially breaching the Online Safety Act when launching a new Instagram feature in May....
