( September 29, 2026, 04:05 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Secoma Company, a Hokkaido-based company in northern Japan that operates the Seicomart convenience-store chain, said Tuesday that personal information, including names, phone numbers and email addresses linked to about 570,000 Seicomart Club accounts may have been exposed through unauthorized access to its membership server via the Seicomart app. Passwords were not leaked and Secoma doesn't hold credit-card information, while the privately held Secoma said it is continuing to investigate the cause and measures to prevent a recurrence.
