Japan's Helpfeel says Gyazo data breach exposed 24m user records

( September 17, 2026, 02:05 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Helpfeel, the Japanese operator of screenshot and video-capture and sharing service Gyazo, said Wednesday that unauthorized access to the service resulted in the disclosure of about 23.6 million user records. The company said its investigation is ongoing and it is taking steps to prevent a recurrence; the exposed data included email addresses, password hashes, device IDs and login session IDs, but no payment information, including credit card numbers, was exposed, and it reported the incident to Japan’s Personal Information Protection Commission.Statement follows (in Japanese)....
