Japan PPC seeks comments on draft revisions to data-breach reporting notification

The proposed amendments would allow entities to use a new common reporting form for personal data breaches arising from other cyberattack incidents, in addition to ransomware incidents, and to report through the National Cybersecurity Office's public-private collaboration platform.
