Indonesia warns 22 digital service providers to register or risk blocking

( July 9, 2026, 07:04 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has issued written warnings to 22 private electronic system operators that have failed to register under the country's mandatory registration regime. In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said the companies have until Monday to comply or face enforcement measures, including possible blocking of access to their electronic systems. It said 25 companies were initially notified of their registration obligations, but PT Ayo Indonesia Maju, Six Continents Hotels and Strava have since contacted the ministry and either committed to completing or have begun the registration process. The remaining 22 companies, including Accor, ANA Holdings and WorldHotels, have received formal warning letters.Statement follows (in Indonesian)...
