Australian watchdogs to strengthen coordination on digital platforms

In a joint statement on Friday, the Digital Platforms Regulators Forum, known as DP-REG, said the members have signed a memorandum of understanding that formalizes how they will share information and work together on cross-cutting issues, including scams, privacy, online safety and competition concerns. The forum is made up of representatives from the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, the eSafety Commissioner and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.Statement follows.
