Facebook users defend US claims against Meta over hackers' actions

Plaintiffs opposed Meta’s motion to dismiss claims brought by users locked out of their accounts by hackers. “Meta had discretion to suspend, or delete these licenses, except in limited express circumstances, or to return access—and it was bad faith for Meta to maintain the license to generate profit instead of exercising its discretion to at least delete the license once a user had been locked out by a hacker,” they argued.See attached file. ...
