Roblox reaches $23 million in settlements with Alabama, W. Virginia

( April 21, 2026, 21:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Roblox has reached separate $12.2 million and $11 million settlements with the attorneys general of Alabama and West Virginia, respectively, on allegations that the popular gaming platform failed to keep children safe. "This settlement sends a clear message to every platform operating in this space — you cannot turn a blind eye to the exploitation of children and expect to avoid consequences,” said Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall.
