Pornhub, others broke EU law for over children access, commmission says

( March 26, 2026, 11:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Pornographic platforms Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX and XVideos have been preliminarily found to be in breach of the EU's digital services law for failing to properly assess and prevent children's access to pornographic content, the European Commission said Thursday. In a statement, it said the companies could respond in writing and take measures to remedy the breaches. If the findings are confirmed, it said it could issue a non-compliance decision, which could trigger a fine proportionate to the infringement up to a maximum of 6 percent of the total worldwide annual turnover of the provider.Press releases attached....
