ITA, Alitalia fined total €1.4m for data protection breaches in Italy

( March 13, 2026, 14:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Italia Trasporto Aereo, or ITA, and Alitalia have been fined €1 million and €250,000 respectively by Italy's data-protection authority for breaking the EU's data privacy rules, including sharing of employee data. ITA was also fined €190,000 for breaching privacy rules in a review of email accounts belonging to three executives, it said.The decision is attached (in Italian)....
