Amazon Italia told to stop profiling workers by medical details, union activity

The watchdog said Amazon is processing data not relevant for assessing professional aptitude. It said the company is systematically collecting and storing personal information on its workers for up to ten years after they leave, plus medical details from return-to-work interviews post sick leave, the medical status of relatives and data on whether they have attended strikes.
