Roblox on notice over child-grooming concerns, Australian watchdog says

In a statement on Tuesday, the Australian eSafety Commissioner said Roblox made nine commitments to support compliance with its obligation to keep Australian children safer under the Online Safety Act, following engagement with the regulator. The statement added that the watchdog remains “highly concerned” about ongoing reports of child exploitation on the Roblox service. The regulator said it has notified the platform that in addition to ongoing compliance monitoring, the eSafety Commissioner will also directly test the implementation of Roblox’s commitments from March 9.Statement follows....
