South Korean gaming giant Netmarble faces criticism over breach disclosure delay

Ruling party lawmaker Choi Min-hee said the delay appears to violate South Korea's network law, which requires online service providers to report cybersecurity incidents within 24 hours, with violations punishable by fines of up to 30 million won.Netmarble, one of South Korea’s biggest game publishers, is grappling with a data breach involving personal information tied to its legacy PC gaming platform, putting it among a growing number of companies hit by hackers this year....
