South Korean telecom giant KT reports additional data breaches

According to the Personal Information Protection Commission, the leaks may include users’ International Mobile Subscriber Identity, International Mobile Equipment Identity, and phone numbers. The PIPC launched a probe into KT after the company reported a security breach in September that caused 240 million won ($172,000) in financial losses to 362 customers and compromised data of more than 47,000 users.
