China's top legislature reviews Cybersecurity Law overhaul today

The revisions aim to toughen legal liability for violations, better align the law with related statutes such as the Data Security Law, the Personal Information Protection Law and the Administrative Penalty Law, and tailor penalties to different types of offenses, from network-operations security to information security.
