EU 'chat control' law mustn't allow mass surveillance, Slovenian watchdog says

It should “strictly respect the principle of proportionality and necessity and must include safeguards to prevent unfounded mass surveillance of communications," Slovenian Information Commissioner Jelena Virant Burnik said.
