Otter.AI accused of illegally transcribing private meetings in US lawsuit

"OtterAI’s surreptitious surveillance extends far beyond its own user base," Theus said. "When a user connects their calendar, OtterAI silently auto-joins every meeting, and begins recording and transcribing the conversation, as well as screenshots.
