The tech giant is being sued by a woman in Germany, whose private pictures and deepfakes haven't been delisted by Google for the past 18 months. The case was lodged with the Munich Regional Court in May and was made public today by the digital rights NGO HateAid, which is supporting the claimant.Google is being sued in Germany under the EU’s data protection rules, for continuing to display intimate images of a woman — including stolen photos and AI-generated deepfakes — in its image search results. ...
