Australians are open to AI but privacy concerns remain, report finds

The report published by leading industry group Tech Council of Australia, whose members also include Amazon Web Services and Atlassian, has revealed that about 93 percent of Australian workers “think that AI will impact jobs by augmenting [the jobs].” But the report also found that Australian workers value highly “clear information on personal data use.” While Australia’s workforce is embracing artificial intelligence with an open mind, concerns remain about the potential privacy risks, according to a report released by an industry group representing tech companies including Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft....
