NetChoice asks US Supreme Court to reinstate Mississippi age-gating law injunction

( July 21, 2025, 22:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: NetChoice filed an emergency petition asking the US Supreme Court to reinstate a block on Mississippi's age-gating law, following an appeals court decision that allows it to be enforced. The law had previously been enjoined on free speech grounds. "Free speech is under attack, and NetChoice is fighting back. Social media is the modern printing press — it allows all Americans to share their thoughts and perspectives.
