UK opens consultation on revenues for online safety fees and penalties regime

Ofcom proposes that providers use a “just and reasonable” approach when separating the revenue between regulated and non-regulated services. The guidance establishes core principles such as accuracy, objectivity and transparency, and includes case studies to inform the calculations. The consultation closes on Sept. 10.Statement follows.
