Trive Credit pays EUR180,000 fine in Spain for GDPR breach

( July 17, 2025, 13:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Trive Credit has paid a 180,000 euros fine imposed by the Spanish Data Protection Agency for violating the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. The company had failed to comply with the regulator's order to inform a person if their request to access their data had been granted or denied, including the reasons behind it, as well as to report back to the watchdog. The fine was initially set at 225,000 euros, but was reduced by 20 percent when Trive agreed to make a voluntary payment.The decision is attached (in Spanish)....
