US states tell appeals court CDA does not bar social media addiction claims

( June 30, 2025, 19:43 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Vermont, New Hampshire and nine other states told a US appeals court that social media addiction claims are not barred by the Communications Decency Act, and the CDA provides only immunity from ultimate liability, not from suit entirely.
