Tech group sues to stop new Arkansas social media laws following US court victory

The laws passed earlier this year seek to implement age-verification requirements that are already subject to an injunction under a prior lawsuit, according to the tech advocate, and would allow parents of children who died by suicide to sue social media companies that allegedly played a role in their child's death.Big Tech trade group NetChoice is once again challenging the constitutionality of two Arkansas laws targeting social media platforms with the aim of protecting children online, following a previous victory that stopped enforcement of a similar law....
