Google, Meta, Flo Health file trial briefs in advance of privacy trial next month

( June 13, 2025, 14:38 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google, Meta Platforms and Flo Health have filed trial briefs with a federal court in San Francisco in advance of a privacy trial due to begin July 21, in which Flo is accused of violating the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act and other laws, while Google and Meta are alleged to have violated the California Invasion of Privacy Act and other laws. "Plaintiffs will not be able to prove essential elements of any of their claims for numerous reasons, but most importantly" because users consented to Flo using "user data to perform analytics to monitor and improve the App;" Flo said in its trial brief.See attached documents....
