GM fights Texas AG’s bid to depose company rep in driver privacy lawsuit

The automaker has asked a state court judge to quash the deposition entirely, arguing the AG’s deposition request is vague, overreaching and irrelevant.GM and its subsidiary OnStar are pushing back against the Texas Attorney General’s attempts to depose one of its “corporate representatives” in a lawsuit accusing the automaker of violating consumer privacy by sharing drivers’ data with data brokers and insurance companies....
