New Zealand children's ministry breached privacy laws, regulator says

( May 28, 2025, 00:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: New Zealand’s Ministry for Children, Oranga Tamariki, breached privacy laws and has been issued a compliance notice, the country’s privacy regulator has said. In a statement today, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner said that the notice has been issued in response to a “series of privacy breaches” reported to the regulator that have caused serious harm to children and their family members.
