Meta’s UK pay-or-consent model must not allow targeted ads, advocacy group urges

The group argued Meta “must provide a tracking-free version of their services accessible without payment” to implement the model lawfully. Meta has recently ramped up pressure on the UK privacy regulator to approve its ad-free subscription.
