Caloga gets French GDPR fine for unlawful marketing, data sharing without consent

( May 27, 2025, 08:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Data broker company Caloga has been fined 80,000 euros by the French Data Protection Authority for sending marketing emails without valid user consent and unlawfully sharing personal data with partners. Caloga obtained user data from contest websites but failed to ensure proper consent, the watchdog said.
