70 percent of UK children under 13 use online platforms, regulator’s report shows

When focusing on social media apps alone, 40 percent of under-13s have a profile on this type of service, the research said, despite UK data protection law determining children under 13 can’t consent to their personal data being processed by platforms without parental consent.Statement follows.
