China to reinforce connected-vehicle networks, data security in Shanghai

( April 25, 2025, 04:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Manufacturers and sellers of intelligent connected vehicle products, along with operators of connected vehicle platforms, providers of autonomous driving solutions and related infrastructure operators in Shanghai, are bracing for a campaign aimed at reinforcing the connected vehicle network and data security, according to the Shanghai Communications Administration. Companies are urged to tighten security measures and strengthen management to ensure the security of the platforms, products and data while adopting robust emergency response protocols and vulnerability management practices.
