Change Healthcare moves to dismiss provider claims in Minnesota class action

( March 24, 2025, 21:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Change Healthcare told a federal judge in Minnesota that claims filed by the National Community Pharmacists Association and 27 healthcare providers over a 2024 data breach must be dismissed. CHC said the plaintiffs are incorrect to argue that "the temporary service disruption breached some legal duty they were owed by Defendants. That is wrong as a matter of law. Defendants had no obligation to safeguard providers’ private information, and Plaintiffs do not even allege providing their data to Defendants," CHC said. See attached document....
