South Korea privacy regulator vows further support for AI startups

Ko Hak-soo, chairperson of the Personal Information Protection Commission, made the remarks during a scheduled meeting with representatives from domestic AI startups. Meanwhile, he also acknowledged the importance of managing the personal information-related risks associated with open-source-based AI models.
