DeepSeek faces legal challenge in India over data-security concerns

Lawyers Bhavna Sharma and Nihit Dalmia have alleged that DeepSeek violates the country's data-privacy laws and are pushing for clearer government guidelines on "high-risk" AI. In their petition filed with the Delhi High Court, the two lawyers have sought interim relief against DeepSeek and broader parameters for identifying and blocking dangerous AI tools.
