Yolo must face US product liability claims, plaintiffs argue

They opposed a motion to dismiss, arguing that the crux of the claims is the fact that Yolo itself had decided to advertise and promise to consumers that a harasser on the platform would be unmasked and banned. “The claim that Yolo lied about its capability and willingness to carry through with this promise, which serves the basis of the [complaint’s] claims do not implicate the First Amendment,” they said....
