OpenAI has been sued by nonprofit Legal Advocates for Safe Science & Technology, which alleges that the incursion into Hugging Face and other networks by OpenAI's autonomous AI agents violated the California Comprehensive Computer Data Access and Fraud Act (CDAFA) as well as California's Unfair Competition Law.
