M&A - Vertex Pharmaceuticals - Crinetics Pharmaceuticals

Boston-based Vertex Pharmaceuticals agreed to acquire San Diego-based Crinetics Pharmaceuticals for $85/share for a total enterprise value of $10 billion. Crinetics brings PALSONIFY, its once-daily oral therapy for adults with acromegaly, and Atumelnant, a once-daily oral adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) receptor antagonist in Phase 3 development for congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Both companies are traded on the Nasdaq and the deal is expected to close Q3 2026.
