Antitrust - Collectors Holdings - Litigation over alleged monopolization of trading card grading services (US)

A collector of sports cards filed a US complaint challenging Collectors Holdings’ acquisition of Sportscard Guaranty and Beckett Grading Services. The complaint alleges that the deals substantially lessened competition in the market for grading services for individual trading cards in the US and enabled Collectors to unlawfully maintain its monopoly in the market.
