Antitrust - Walt Disney - Dish's antitrust litigation over downstream skinny sports bundle market (US)
The Walt Disney Company filed a US complaint accusing Dish Network of violating the terms of its licensing contract and undermining Disney’s decades-long business model by offering a “Day Pass” in its Sling Orange service without notice to Disney and without consent. Dish filed antitrust counterclaims accusing Disney of illegal tying, coordinating with Fox on skinny sports bundles, and lessening competition with its acquisition of Fubo.
